I just updated my MS908 Pro from system version 4.96 to 4.97, and noticed this new feature called "OEM Authorization". What is it exactly? I still have a valid subscription, so I want to try out the feature. Launching the app, just results in me being in some sort of disconnected state.Tags: OEM_Activation , MY908

After the update, a new option appeared, but I couldn't find any information about it

I suspect the feature is a secondary subscription for some vehicles like some Fords
that were previously susceptible to hacking via the OBD2. I assume this feature
allows us (once verified in some database) (and subscribed to the OEM) to actually use
the OBD2 to do the usual functions.
